Addressing Wellbeing In Schools

Abstract
As educators, we deeply care for our students and want to help them thrive and succeed. Ensuring that our educators and students flourish requires intentionally prioritizing and supporting wellbeing. It can be difficult to know where to start and which activities or programs to implement that will truly impact the wellbeing of our students and educators. This book, and its companion resource Assessing Wellbeing in School, aim to guide educators in developing a wellbeing focus for their school and classroom.
While our companion resource focuses on measuring wellbeing, this resource acts as a guidebook for educators on how to implement evidence-based wellbeing interventions and activities. The first section of the resource provides guidance for educators and administrators on developing a wellbeing program and adapting it to the unique needs of your students and community. The second section provides a wide range of evidence-based interventions and lessons for students organized around the PERMAH model of wellbeing. The final section of the book focuses on evidence-based interventions to support the wellbeing of educators and school staff. We hope that this book can be a valuable resource to help you and your students flourish and thrive!
