They have watched a video by Pam Perlich on Utah’s changing demographics. They will now deepen their understand of the changing demographics of their state and neighborhood by participating in a group discussion.
- Using your notes from the Pam Perlich videos you watched as homework on Utah’s changing demographics, have a small group discussion at your table review the surprises, explore the key concepts, and consider implications for education generally and your classroom specifically. (Consider why gaining your endorsement could make you a valuable resource and asset to your school and community.)
- Each table will share one key idea from their discussions. The facilitator will lead the discussion and elicit ideas from the class.
