Raster Graphic

A type of graphic that uses a two-dimensional grid of pixels, such as .jpg, .png, or .gif.

Vector Graphic

A type of graphic that uses points, lines, and curves to mathematically represent an image, such as .svg or .ai, and can be losslessly rescaled.
