These describe what the learners will be doing to master the learning objectives. The learning designer must clearly identify what the learners will be doing during the learning event(s). In traditional approaches to learning, students will be expected to read text, the instruction should always include active learning that requires the students to complete tasks directly related to the expected learning outcomes (objectives).
