Flip

The platform was phased out by Microsoft

Flip is a free educational platform for creating and sharing short video discussions. It's a versatile tool for fostering interactive discussions and encouraging student participation. Conducting some discussions as show-and tell or video-based narrations supports the idea of offering multiple modes of action and expression, as postulated in Universal Design for Learning principles.

Facilitating Discussion

Engage with your students by responding to their video posts, asking follow-up questions, and fostering a sense of community. Students can also reply to each other's videos, creating a collaborative and interactive discussion space. Note that replies and comments are text-based.

It may be encouraging for students if you record your own video responses to the prompt.
