Instructional Design Processes

Some instructional design knowledge has been codified into formal processes and methodologies. Designers should use these as guides to improve their thinking rather than as mandates they must follow. Doing so allows them to capitalize on the collective wisdom of the field, while remaining free to apply their own judgment to issues as needed.
