A Model of Knowledge Acquisition
This illustration depicts four quadrants of knowledge status to show how we move between ignorance, anagnorisis, metacognition, and tacit knowledge. This is useful for illustrating the difficulties of Behaviorism, which attempts to move directly from ignorance to tacit knowledge, and the importance and roles of reflection and other learning activities.
