Part 2: Setting Up Your Website

Part 2 focuses on the things you need to setup a self-hosted WordPress-based website. This part is all about the skills involved in using WordPress, it is not about the content around what makes a good site. I’ve divided the process into six steps:

1. Choose your domain name.
2. Buy your domain. 
3. Buy hosting.
4. Install WordPress.
5. Add initial content.
6. Configure themes and plugins.
