The facilitator will answer these questions and support them in understanding the final project and how the course will support them in being able to provide stronger iteracy instruction for their students, particularly ELs.</p><p id="p_uiJGb" name="p_uiJGb">2. The teachers will raise questions regarding the completion of the<a href="https://byu.box.com/s/eic867jb5l5k35jb84p8mi1xixy9w48h" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-shortened-url="https://equitypress.org/-IdQ" data-unshortened-url="https://byu.box.com/s/eic867jb5l5k35jb84p8mi1xixy9w48h"> literacy profile </a>of a level 1 or 2 EL and a more advanced EL.The facilitator will help them understand the assignment and identify resources for completing the profiles.</p><p id="p_FTVaF" name="p_FTVaF">3. Working with partners, teachers will review with a colleague the reasons they chose the specific unit for their final project. Using their readings and worksheet from <a href="https://equitypress.org/second_language_literacy/hw_22_designing_a_li" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-shortened-url="https://equitypress.org/-ieI" data-unshortened-url="https://equitypress.org/second_language_literacy/hw_22_designing_a_li">HW 2.2</a>,they will begin by focusing on how their strengths in Pedagogy, Curriculum, and Classroom Organization and Structure work to develop their ELs language and literacy development generally and in their current unit plan. They will then discuss the challenges and adjustments that they might make to improve the quality of the content learning and literacy development of their students. </p>
