Dr. Punya Mishra is associate dean of scholarship & innovation and professor in the Division of Educational Leadership & Innovation at Arizona State University (ASU). Prior to ASU, Dr. Mishra directed the Educational Technology program at Michigan State University. Dr. Mishra currently serves on the executive council of the Society for Information Technology in Teacher Education, started and served as chair of the creativity special interest group at the Society for Information Technology in Teacher Education, and is the former chair of the innovation & technology committee of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE). Dr. Mishra is recognized for helping develop (in collaboration with Dr. M. J. Koehler) the technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) framework for technology integration in teacher education.
