Ben Harley, Ph.D., is the inaugural Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD where he also serves as an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric in the Department of English, Communication, and Global Languages. His research focuses on HyFlex course design, composition pedagogies, holistic approaches to critical thinking, and sound writing. He is primarily focused on classroom practices and strives to create engaging, high-impact courses that are accessible, equitable, and diverse.
