Ali Raza

Ali Raza is a third-year PhD student in Computer and Cognitive Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His research interests include Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Learning Analytics, Visualization, STEM education. Currently, he is investigating how visual analytics can support equity in the science classroom. He is advised by Tamara Sumner and June Gruber at CU Boulder. He is also collaborating on two other projects; School Wide Labs: Integrating computational thinking using sensors into middle school science classrooms aligned with Next generation science standards, InquiryHub: a research+practice partnership engaged in research and development of materials, tools, and processes to promote equitable student learning of STEM. Before joining CU Boulder, Ali was a middle and high school teacher for Computer Science and he completed his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science.
