Stephanie R. Haley

As the User Experience Research Lead at the Center for Academic Innovation, Stephanie works with the Research & Development team to coordinate and conduct user and learner experience research across the Center’s portfolio. Before joining Academic Innovation, Stephanie was a human-centered design facilitator at Ford Motor Company where she led design thinking workshops for cross-functional, diverse teams. Previously, she had worked in a variety of user-centered roles, including as an Engagement and Iteration Manager at AI, a High-Tech Anthropologist at Menlo Innovations, and UX Design/Researcher at GE. Recently, Stephanie was the Communications Lead for the Michigan Chapter of User Experience Professionals Association from 2017-2019. Prior to her work in user experience, Stephanie spent time researching fan communities in television, film, and popular culture, working as a sound designer for television commercials, and managing a women’s interest blog on popular culture.
