As a Learning Experience Designer & Accessibility Coordinator at the Center for Academic Innovation, Yuanru collaborates with cross-functional course development teams to design online learning experiences with close attention to compliance with accessibility and usability principles. She serves as a resource within the Center for Academic Innovation for finding pedagogical and technological solutions that make our projects and tools highly accessible to our constituents. Yuanru develops and facilitates workshops across the University of Michigan to educate faculty and staff on online education accessibility (standards, tools, and best practices). Yuanru also collaborates with Center colleagues on conducting learning design and learning analytics research projects to deliver data-informed decisions to improve online course design.
