Zach Ryan is a PhD student in the Learning Sciences program at Indiana University, Bloomington. His research interests focus on the deep connections between play and learning. His work centers design-based research and asset-based pedagogies to foster playful environments which broaden students’ participation and contributions in their learning communities.
