Sima Ahmadi is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Educational Technology, and serves as a research assistant on an NFS (Computer Science Education) project at Kent State University. Her academic background includes a master's degree in Arts in Education, complemented by a graduate degree in Leadership Development and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Her research pursuits primarily revolve around exploring advanced educational technologies, adaptive and blended learning systems, coding and robotics education, and gamified learning, with a specific emphasis on STEM education. She has over seven years of experience implementing in Community Based Education (CBE), and Education in Emergency (EiE) projects with humanitarian INGOs in Afghanistan.
