For listening exercises you should follow several rules: 1) always listen to the whole audio file without stopping it, 2) you may listen to it three times (this is the number of times you will hear an audio file when doing the audio portion of a test), 3) make quick notes as you hear the answer to the question, do not worry about complete sentences while listening, and 4) when finished with the audio file, formulate your final answer using complete sentences.
