When you click on each individual video, be sure to turn off the transcript by clicking the N on the top right. Try to find the answers you need without looking at the transcript.

You should listen to each video three times. After that, you may turn on the transcript and read what the speaker says. You should also correct your spelling, if necessary.

Remember that the goal of this activity is to develop your ear to hear spoken Spanish and understand it without having to see it written.

Vocabulario útil:   

• Bachillerato = high school diploma 
• Licenciatura = undergraduate college/university degree 
• Maestría = master’s degree   
• Colegio = high school  
• Academia = academy, usually a private school (the school mentioned in the video is one that prepares students for university work)
