You have already learned how to conjugate present-tense verbs that end in –ar in Spanish. In this lesson you will learn how to conjugate verbs that end in –er and –ir so you may discuss daily activities.
To conjugate –er and –ir verbs in the present tense, you first remove the –er or –ir, and then add the appropriate endings depending on the subject pronoun.

Remember that when you have two verbs in a row without a conjunction such as and, but or or, only the first verb is conjugated.
Finally, remember that to make a sentence negative, always place the no directly before the conjugated verb, even if it comes between the pronoun and verb.
