Tasha M. Brown

Tasha M. Brown, PhD, PMP is the Assistant Dean of Instructional Technology, Assessment, & Evaluation at the University of South Florida College of Nursing and an Adjunct Professor. She is a change agent and transformational leader who fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement. She has over 10 years of experience in instructional design, project management, assessment, accreditation, and program evaluation. Tasha leverages her expertise to provide strategic leadership and innovative solutions to create a data-driven culture that is rooted in excellence and integrity. She has been instrumental in establishing the Office of Assessment and Evaluation and its policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in the data provided to internal and external stakeholders to make meaningful programmatic decisions. She also leads the instructional design team and provides strategic direction in the development of high-quality and pedagogically sound content that align with teaching and learning best practices. Her research interests include examining instructional designer’s role and practices in higher education and integrating project management principles in instructional design. In addition to earning her doctorate in instructional leadership from the University of Alabama, Tasha has completed her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. She leverages her education and expertise to deliver creative solutions that help to educate and prepare the nurses of tomorrow.
